Just a block from the beach on the Westside of Santa Cruz, this contemporary home had a major exterior remodel. This active family with young kids and several pups needed to expand their living space into the outdoors. Design features included an outdoor BBQ with pizza oven, curving full-range Bluestone patios and pathways, horizontal fencing and a storage system for surfboards. As the fog comes in, family and friends can keep warm by gathering around the large gas firepit with built-in benches. A few pops of turquoise, beautiful low-maintenance plants, and a warm lighting design compete the look and allow the garden to be used into the evening.
